The SENET Project maintains this website to enhance public access to information about its results and activities. Our goal is to keep this information updated. The Consortium has the right to interrupt service for internal reasons, e.g. maintenance and is not obligated to make services available online without interruption.

The SENET Project is committed to respect privacy of each user and comply with applicable laws on data protection and privacy. Processing of user’s personal data is governed by these terms, by the relevant provisions of EU legislation on data protection, including the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) and the relevant local legislation, including decisions, guidelines and regulations.

Although you can browse through most of this website without giving any information about yourself, in some cases, personal information is required (e.g. newsletters registration and contact of consortium from the contact form).

Collection and use of personal information

By accessing the Website, certain information about the User, such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, navigation through the Website, the software used and the time spent, with other similar information, are stored either on the project server or in Google Analytics. These do not specifically identify the User.  The information is used internally only for website traffic analysis and is not published for general access.

SENET only collects personal information through the online subscription to the project’s newsletter and the online registration as a SENET expert. 

These personal data will be collected on the basis of your direct consent and kept for two years after the project end. 

We do not collect personal data or information for dissemination or sell to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not collect sensitive personal information.

In accordance with the GDPR and the French law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978, everyone who registered as an expert or to the project’s newsletter on this website has a right to access, query, rectification and opposition by writing to the data protection Officer (dpo(at)group-gac.com). 

Personal data will not be transferred to China.

 

Cookies

Cookies are used by the website to improve the user experience and by the Google Analytics tool which is used to monitor the audience.

Protection of personal information

We use a range of physical, technical and organizational measures to ensure that we keep your personal data secure. These measures include Technological security measures, including firewalls and encryption mechanisms (TLS). Personal data will be secured by password-protecting the individual documents. The passwords will be kept secure and only be shared with european partners who need to work with the data.
